FAQs
Moving comes with a lot of questions, and we'd rather answer them upfront than leave you guessing. If you don't find what you're looking for here, feel free to reach out directly — we're always happy to talk through the details.
How do I get a quote?
Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or give us a call and tell us about your move. We'll ask the right questions to understand the full scope of work and put together an honest, accurate estimate before anything is scheduled.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly during peak moving season in spring and summer. That said, we'll always do our best to work within your timeline. Get in touch and we'll let you know what's available.
What areas do you serve?
Moving Van serves the greater Middle Tennessee area, including Nashville and the surrounding communities. We also handle long-distance moves within Tennessee.
Do you offer both loading and unloading services?
Yes. We offer full-service moving as well as labor-only services for customers who have their own truck or portable storage container and just need a professional crew for the physical work.
Are my belongings protected during the move?
We take the care of your belongings seriously and take every precaution to protect your home and possessions throughout the process. If you have questions about coverage or valuation options, we're happy to walk you through them when you reach out.
Do you move large or specialty items?
Yes. Furniture, appliances, artwork, antiques, and other oversized or delicate items are handled with care and experience. If you have something specific you're concerned about, let us know upfront so we can come fully prepared.
Will the same crew handle my entire move?
Yes. The crew assigned to your job will handle it from start to finish. We believe consistency matters, and having the same team on-site throughout the day keeps things organized and accountable.
What should I do to prepare for moving day?
The more prepared you are, the smoother the day will go. We recommend having everything packed and labeled before the crew arrives, clearing pathways through your home, and making sure parking is accessible at both locations. We'll provide guidance specific to your move when you book.
Do you work with seniors or families navigating difficult transitions?
Yes. We work closely with seniors and their families during moves that require extra patience and care. Our crews understand that these moves carry more weight than a typical relocation, and they approach every job accordingly.
What makes Moving Van different from other moving companies?
We're not interested in quick wins or cutting corners to get through more jobs in a day. We hire carefully, train deliberately, and hold our crews to a high standard on every job. Our repeat and referral business speaks to that — customers come back and send their friends and family because the experience is consistently worth recommending.
